SHOE GAME Variety!

Hello Beauties!!!!

Now I will say we still have a few more days left, but it’s honestly time to put the Uggs towards the back of your closet.  I know…I know…who can resist the comfort of walking in a bundle of soft, cuddly, sheepskin? Have no fear because there are so many options to choose from.  I love shoes.  In fact, it’s one of my favorite closet staples.  Shoes can always turn an outfit from casual to formal in less than a minute and vice versa.

BEAUTIES…This week let’s talk shoes!! The good thing is that over the years style and comfort have been combined.  Sneakers have also been factored in!  Some of the prettiest dresses and skirts have been paired with sneakers and clumpy, rubber sole shoes. For all my high heel BEAUTIES, wedges and lower heel pumps bring the best of both worlds.  These types of pumps can easily switch you from office to happy hour.  Some of my favs are below, but as ALWAYS…wear what you can afford and what makes you feel most comfortable!

Remember, put your best foot forward and think SPRING when deciding on shoes!

Fashion, Life & Tea with Shopaholic City

Stay tuned!!

Spring is in the Air!

Hello Beauties!!!!

With Spring fast approaching, please don’t be afraid to switch up things in your closet!  Now is the time to play with prints, mix and match, and bring out a few bright and pastel colors (especially blush pink-winkJ).Let’s trade those bulky sweaters and corduroy pants for a more exciting, vibrant, and even light-weight look.  This is the perfect time to play dress up and have a little fun!!

The first way to switch up is by starting with Outerwear. Ladies, a trench coat is a worthy investment. They come in many different styles and lengths. Just remember to stick with a more basic, classic color like khaki, beige, navy, or black and you will have a piece to transition you for years to come. Next, let's try trading those puffy down coats for a light weight jacket.  There are so many versions of Spring jackets- that you could probably choose a few and switch them up. The “Biker Look” is totally in this year.  I've seen all types of fabrics and colors for this one! You can have so much fun with this easy motorcycle jacket style by dressing it up or down. Work or play jacks are always a good closet addition.

Finally! We get to switch out those heavy cable knit, wool scarfs and gloves for colorful scarfs in thinner fabrics. Infinity scarfs can be found everywhere in bright colors and at great prices. You can even throw these on with a V-neck tee and booties as part of your outfit for a more laid back look. Infinity scarfs also look great when thrown over a trench coat to help your polished look appear fun and original. These are just a few outer wardrobe suggestions to consider for the upcoming weather transition! Remember… BEAUTIES….Have fun and always feel comfortable in anything you wear…This brings on Confidence and shows your beauty from within!!!!!
